Diwali, the festival of lights, is a celebration of joy, prosperity, knowledge, and wisdom—as light symbolizes all these virtues and more. It is celebrated across the nation in various ways, transcending religious boundaries. New clothes, the sharing of sweets, colorful rangolis, and cheerful gatherings mark this festival of happiness and togetherness.
In keeping with this spirit, Don Bosco Pvt. ITI, Kokar organized a series of events to celebrate Diwali. During the morning assembly, Karan Kumar delivered a meaningful address highlighting the true significance of the festival. A key message from the talk was that everyone should strive to “light up the lives of others” through acts of kindness, thereby creating a brighter and more prosperous future for all.
The afternoon featured a rangoli competition in which representatives from all four houses participated enthusiastically. The trainees displayed great creativity and imagination through their colorful designs. Green House emerged as the winner, followed by Blue House as the runner-up. The winners and runners-up were awarded attractive prizes. The Don Bosco Tech trainees also showcased their artistic talents with beautiful rangoli designs, adding to the festive spirit.
In the evening, the evening school children held their own rangoli competition, filling the assembly hall with vibrant patterns and colors. Their enthusiasm and creativity made the hall come alive with festive energy.
As part of the celebration, the Electrician Section trainees illuminated the entire ITI building with beautiful lights, making the campus glow in the spirit of Diwali. It was truly a day of joy, creativity, and togetherness for everyone at the institute.
As we celebrate this Diwali, let us remember the light within us—the vastness and eternal nature of life—and feel a deep sense of gratitude for all that we have received. May this festival inspire us to spread light, hope, and happiness wherever we go.
