A Tribute to Our Former Instructor, Mr. Nityanand Singh
The bond between students and their instructors often runs deep. Teachers are not only mentors and guides but sometimes become confidants and even second parents. Through their wisdom, character, and dedication, they leave a lasting mark on their students’ lives. Such was the life and legacy of the late Mr. Nityanand Singh — a gifted teacher and a truly remarkable human being.
Mr. Singh touched countless hearts and minds through his teaching and example. His passing is a great loss to the many trainees who were shaped by his knowledge, discipline, and values. Though his absence will always be felt, his lessons and spirit will continue to inspire. He was, indeed, a guiding light for many.
During his long and dedicated service at Don Bosco ITI, Kokar, Mr. Singh became an integral part of the Don Bosco family. Even after his retirement, he remained deeply connected, visiting often and maintaining warm relationships with both teachers and Salesians.
Mr. Singh began his teaching career at Don Bosco ITI in September 2001 and served faithfully until his retirement in September 2019. Throughout his 18 years of service, he was known for his strong presence in the classroom, his clear voice, and his ability to command attention while fostering respect and learning.
He had been under treatment for diabetes, and, according to his son, his health declined on October 3rd, when he suddenly collapsed and passed away. He was cremated on October 6th.
May the Almighty grant our beloved instructor, Mr. Nityanand Singh, eternal peace and joy in His heavenly abode. His memory and influence will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
