Christmas Celebration 2025 at Don Bosco Pvt. ITI, Kokar, Ranchi
Don Bosco Pvt. ITI, Kokar, Ranchi joyfully celebrated the festival of Christmas on 20th December 2025, marking the culmination of a week-long period of enthusiastic preparation and festive spirit. The entire campus wore a vibrant and joyful look as students adorned it with colorful lights, stars, and decorative hangings, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, hope, and celebration.
One of the highlights of the preparation was the Trade-wise Christmas Crib Making Competition. Students from different trades showcased their creativity, dedication, and devotion by crafting beautiful cribs. A total of seven cribs were prepared, each uniquely designed and artistically presented, reflecting the students’ talent, hard work, and deep love for Baby Jesus. The cribs stood as a testimony to teamwork and festive enthusiasm.
The Christmas Celebration Programme was held on 20th December with the presence of students from both Don Bosco Pvt. ITI and DB Tech. The programme began with an Opening and Welcome, setting the tone for a meaningful and joyous celebration.
The celebration officially commenced with the Inauguration of the Christmas Crib by Fr. George, followed by a Christmas speech that highlighted the true spirit and message of Christmas. Fr. George also addressed the gathering, inspiring everyone with his thoughtful words and reminding the students of the values of love, peace, sharing, and compassion.
The cultural segment added color and joy to the event. A Christmas skit beautifully portrayed the message of Christ’s birth, followed by a melodious Carol Song that filled the campus with festive cheer. The excitement reached its peak with the grand welcome of Santa Claus, who brought smiles and laughter by distributing gifts and chocolates to the students, spreading happiness and joy all around.
The celebration continued with energetic and entertaining performances:
- Dance by Fitter 1st Year students
- Song by Electrician 2nd Year students
- Dance by DB Tech students
- Song by DB Tech students
Each performance was met with enthusiastic applause, reflecting the confidence and talent of the students.
The programme concluded with a meaningful Christmas Message by the Principal, who appreciated the efforts of the students and staff and encouraged everyone to carry the spirit of Christmas in their daily lives. This was followed by a Vote of Thanks and a Lucky Draw Game, which added excitement to the event. Every student and staff member received at least one gift, along with a piece of Christmas cake, ensuring that everyone shared in the joy of giving and celebration.
The Christmas celebration at Don Bosco Pvt. ITI, Kokar was a memorable occasion filled with joy, unity, creativity, and gratitude. The students and staff left the campus happy, inspired, and filled with the true spirit of Christmas, making the event a grand success.
