1. Strengthening the Bridge from Training to Employment: Don Bosco Career Guidance, Training & Job Placement Service – Ranchi, through the Don Bosco JPN Ranchi Regional Centre, has continued its committed service of connecting trained and deserving youth with genuine employment and apprenticeship opportunities through strong collaboration with Government and private technical institutions and industry partners. Through its proactive approach of inviting employers, mobilising eligible candidates, facilitating interviews and supporting safe migration, JPN has played a pivotal role in bringing employers and job seekers onto a common platform without discrimination or favour. The recent series of placement activities conducted on 20th, 21st and 28th August and 24th September 2026 demonstrates the value of authentic institutional–industry collaboration in opening pathways to employment for young people, particularly those from vulnerable and underprivileged backgrounds.

2. Tata Motors Apprenticeship Drive – 20 & 21 August 2026: On 20 August 2026, a placement drive for Tata Motors, Jamshedpur was organised at Govt. ITI Simdega, providing an opportunity to candidates from Govt. ITI Simdega, Don Bosco Pvt. ITI Kuarmunda, Odisha, and Govt. ITI Gumla. A total of 93 candidates participated and 61 were selected. JPN extends its sincere gratitude to the Principal, Respected Sir Sanga, Sachiv Sir Lugun, Head of Department and all trainers for their valuable cooperation. The following day, 21 August 2026, another Tata Motors apprenticeship drive was conducted at Don Bosco Pvt. ITI Kokar, Ranchi, with participation from Don Bosco Pvt. ITI Kokar and Govt. ITI Lohardaga, where 61 apprenticeship opportunities were offered. The drives were facilitated under the guidance of HR Mr. Rohit Sinha, who has continuously supported the recruitment of candidates through the one-year Apprenticeship Scheme over the past three years. These consecutive drives reflected JPN’s commitment to providing fair and equal opportunities to eligible candidates across institutions.

3. Anand Engineering Products Pvt. Ltd. – 28 August 2026: On 28 August 2026, Don Bosco JPN Ranchi conducted a placement drive for Anand Engineering Products Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, Tamil Nadu, an established manufacturing organisation, with recruitment support from Senior HR Mr. Sankar and Assistant Mr. Samuel. Candidates were mobilised from Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh, with 22 candidates participating and 20 selected. The employment opportunity included salary along with facilities and benefits communicated by the employer, including accommodation, food, travel allowance, attendance incentive, annual bonus, uniform and safety equipment. The company also extended a special hiring authorisation to the Don Bosco JPN Ranchi Regional Centre, strengthening the direct industry–JPN linkage and creating a continuing channel for employment opportunities for deserving youth.

4. Royal Enfield Job Drive – 24 September 2026: On 24 September 2026, Don Bosco JPN Ranchi, in collaboration with Don Bosco Pvt. ITI Kokar, Ranchi, conducted a Job Drive with Royal Enfield, Ranchi, Jharkhand, offering employment opportunities in areas including Technician, Sales and Office Management. The drive provided a direct platform for local youth to interact with the dealership and explore employment within Jharkhand. The successful participation and selection of candidates further demonstrated the importance of JPN’s collaboration with technical institutions and local industry in creating accessible employment pathways while enabling young people to pursue opportunities closer to their communities.

5. A Shared Mission of Safe, Secure & Decent Employment: Don Bosco Career Guidance, Training & Job Placement Service – Ranchi gratefully acknowledges the constant guidance and encouragement of Rev. Bro. Tom, Principal, Don Bosco Pvt. ITI Kokar and special guide to the JPN Ranchi Regional Centre, whose experienced leadership and support continue to strengthen the Centre’s placement initiatives. JPN also expresses heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Gabriel Karunaraj SDB, Director, for his special concern and support, and to Programme Manager Mr. Harish, Assistant Coordinator Mr. Liyender, the JPN Core Team and all institutional partners, trainers, employers and well-wishers who contribute to this mission. Following the legacy and spirit of St. John Bosco, JPN remains committed to serving vulnerable and underprivileged youth by connecting them with dignified opportunities through the guiding principle of “Safe, Secure & Decent Jobs”, both locally and across India. Together, through collaboration, guidance and responsible placement support, we continue the journey from education and training to sustainable employment and a better future for young people and their families.
