Don Bosco’s feast day special program was organized for the trainees on the afternoon of January 30, 2025. The three-hour event was filled with fun games, which the trainees thoroughly enjoyed. The first half of the day followed the regular class schedule. A day prior, the bust of Don Bosco in front of the building was beautifully decorated, and the vibrant flowers in the garden further enhanced the surroundings.
Br. Ankit, Br. Asim, Mr. Kuldeep Surin, and Mr. Mridul were entrusted with organizing the afternoon program. Everything was well-prepared, and the fun games began with a team activity where individuals had to act out and mimic actions in sequence without the entire group seeing. By the time the last participant performed, the actions had changed completely, leading to much amusement and laughter among the spectators. The games were not only thrilling but also highly engaging, with some activities requiring participants to shout at the top of their voices.
The final event was a tug-of-war, where all four houses put up a spirited fight while enthusiastic onlookers cheered them on. A special tug-of-war match was also held between the boys and girls, with an interesting twist—boys were allowed to use only one hand, while the girls could use both. To everyone's surprise, the girls won the challenge.
Following the games, everyone gathered for the prize distribution ceremony. Green house secured first place overall, while yellow house finished as the runner-up. Consolation prizes were awarded to the other houses as well. After the ceremony, all participants were treated to snacks before leaving the campus.
It was indeed a fantastic day that left everyone energized. The trainees thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the fun-filled activities. Such events play a crucial role in fostering holistic development, teamwork, collaboration, and sportsmanship. Undoubtedly, it was a memorable day for all, one they will cherish for a long time
