The first Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) of the year was conducted as scheduled after the first quarterly examinations, held in the last week of October. Most students had prepared thoroughly for the exams, and teachers completed grading on time, making the results available by November 7. Due to the Chhath Puja holiday on the 8th, the PTM was held on November 9, with no official classes held that day, allowing parents to come throughout the day with their children to discuss performance and progress.
Som of the class rooms and labs were allotted for the teachers to receive parents together with their wards. The meeting started simultaneously for all the courses at different allotted locations and the days program had come to an end by around 2.00 p.m.
The feedback from parents was highly positive; they appreciated the institute’s efforts to support the students' holistic development. High-performing students were commended for their efforts, while those facing challenges received constructive feedback on areas for improvement. This meeting allowed both parents and teachers to gain a better understanding of each student's strengths and needs, fostering a collaborative approach toward enhancing academic performance.
Parents also expressed satisfaction with the institute’s policies, particularly the ban on mobile phone use on campus. Teachers, too, gained valuable insights into the students after interacting with their parents. Overall, the PTM was a beneficial and productive experience for teachers, parents, and students alike.
