28 Apr 2025-Techxhibition at Don Bosco ITI Kokar

Exhibition management in an institute is the art of planning, organizing, and executing the successful display of various projects and products prepared by students. It is a multifaceted process that requires careful coordination of multiple elements to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for both exhibitors and visitors.

On 28th April 2025, the trainees of Don Bosco ITI, Kokar, had a memorable experience as they showcased innovative projects from the mechanical and electrical and welding sections. The event, aptly named "Techxhibition," was the culmination of a month-long preparation guided by the Principal and a committed team of staff and students.

At the core of the organizing committee were Mr. Kuldeep Surin, Mr. Neelam Ekka, and Mr. Linjus Xalxo, who worked tirelessly to plan and execute every detail of Techxhibition. Trainees from all trades contributed in various capacities, making the event a truly collaborative and exhilarating experience.

The exhibition was spread across three main locations: the machine shop, the assembly hall, and the front lawn of the institute. The lawn was elegantly decorated with a shamiyana, offering visitors a comfortable space to explore the exhibits. By 9:00 a.m., all projects were set up, and the first group of visitors—senior students from Don Bosco English Medium School—began their tour. Several other schools also attended, gaining valuable insights from the exhibits.

Trainees enthusiastically explained their projects, engaging visitors who showed keen interest and asked insightful questions. The projects on display included:

  • Hydro Power Plant
  • Mini Power Plant (Prototype)
  • Automatic Fire Extinguisher
  • Solar Panel with Automatic Sun Tracker
  • Life Saving Stick
  • Solar Power Plant
  • Automatic Rain Detector
  • Automatic Power Supply

Industry professionals and other well-wishers also visited the exhibition and praised the creativity, effort, and technical skill displayed by the trainees.

Such initiatives reinforce the philosophy of continuous improvement that lies at the heart of all training programs at Don Bosco ITI. Events like Techxhibition play a pivotal role in helping trainees learn, grow, and prepare for the real-world challenges ahead.
