23 Dec 2024-With the Chief Minister

Meeting the Honourable Chief Minister, Shri Hemant Soren on 24th afternoon was a privilege indeed. It was Christmas time and the I was eager to meet the Chief Minister just to congratulate him for the election victory and his return to the post as Chief Minister. Besides it was also an opportunity to wish him a joyous Christmas and a fruitful new year.

One of the past pupils of the institute, Mr. Gopal, was instrumental in getting the appointment. I contacted Mr. Gopal and he made the necessary arrangement together with the JMM district Vice President. Fr. Ujwal and Fr. Kuldip too accompanied me to the chamber of the Chief Minister. We left at 11.00 am but managed to meet him only at 3.00 pm as he was busy through out the day meeting people and hearing the complaints and listening to the various issues faced by different people. It was edifying indeed to see the Chief Minister attending to the people with immense patience and calmness.
