Known for integrating industry-grade technical skills with strong ethical values, the institute dedicated this day to raising ecological awareness among its trainees, staff, and the local community. The 2026 celebration underscored the vital role future technicians and skilled craftsmen play in driving sustainable industrial practices, reducing carbon footprints, and promoting a green economy.
The day began during the morning assembly, where the Principal highlighted the critical importance of environmental stewardship, specifically emphasizing the preservation of the campus ecosystem. Following the assembly, staff and trainees gathered in the open area behind the mechanical workshop for a special program and tree plantation drive. Trainees Prabhat and Abhishek delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing the urgent need to plant trees and combat all forms of pollution to protect the planet. They also urged their peers to carry this vital message back to their neighborhoods and villages to foster healthier, happier communities.
Following the speeches, trainees and staff enthusiastically stepped forward to lead the plantation drive. It was an inspiring sight as the community worked together to plant saplings across the institutional grounds, effectively promoting local biodiversity and expanding the campus's green cover.
