04 Aug 2026-Staff animation

Regular input sessions play a vital role in capacitating and strengthening the staff of an institution. Such sessions provide opportunities for staff members to update their knowledge, develop new skills, reflect on their responsibilities, and respond effectively to the changing needs of trainees and the workplace. Beyond professional development, these sessions contribute to the personal and human formation of staff. Topics related to values, motivation, emotional well-being, ethics, safeguarding, discipline, and effective relationships can help staff create a positive and supportive learning environment for trainees.

A Teachers’ Orientation Program was organized on 3rd and 4th August to welcome, motivate, and guide the teaching staff at the beginning of the new training session. The program commenced with a warm welcome and a brief introduction. The Principal introduced the resource persons, Fr. Deepak Kindo and Fr. David Minj, and encouraged the teachers to participate actively in the sessions and make the maximum use of the valuable inputs and insights shared during the two-day animation program.

The orientation program began with a prayer, seeking God’s guidance and blessings for the new training session. The sessions focused on several important aspects of effective teaching and training, including the importance of quality education, discipline, student learning, the use of digital teaching tools, classroom management, and time management.

The staff actively participated in various activities such as games, group discussions, and sharing of experiences in dealing with students. Particular emphasis was placed on teamwork, effective communication with parents, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment for trainees. During the group activities, teachers shared their experiences and reflections on how they motivate students, listen to their concerns, understand their needs, and guide them in their personal and academic growth.

The program also provided an opportunity for personal reflection and professional growth. One of the teachers Ms. Pratibha, shared that this was her third orientation program at the institute and that each animation had helped her learn valuable lessons in areas such as time management, teamwork, and student motivation. She expressed that the orientation program had contributed significantly to her overall improvement in his performance and in her dealings with colleagues and students. Such program has undoubtedly enhanced the capacity of the teaching staff to perform their responsibilities more effectively and confidently.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Neelam S. Ekka, who expressed gratitude, on behalf of the entire staff, to Fr. Deepak Kindo and Fr. David Minj for their valuable guidance and qualitative inputs. In his concluding remarks, the Principal also expressed his gratitude to the resource persons and encouraged the staff to internalize the lessons and insights gained during the program and put them into practice in their daily dealings, both within the institute and beyond.

The two-day orientation program was a meaningful and enriching experience for the teaching staff. It not only strengthened their professional competencies but also renewed their commitment to working together for the holistic development and well-being of the trainees.
